SZR Automation

RZR®-AS automation is a microprocessor device for automatic switching  on the reserve voltage (SZR) and automatic return to basic supply (APZ) and 0.4 KV switch board. The ready to work appliance contains all the supporting elements creating the SZR automatic set: steering the switches or connectors, steering buttons of  switches and the generator, navigation switches for setting and service, a display with the visualization of the condition of the system, switch of the working mode and LED diodes for signalization. The simple connection of four elements:

  • RZR®-AS device,
  • Fuses in the circuits of the detection of powering voltage,
  • Working elements (switches or connectors),
  • Power unit (for the systems with a generator)

Shortens the time of the assembly and startup of the SZR switchboard to the minimum.  Direct  steering of the working elements chosen in the configuration of the appliance – a switch or a connector – eliminates the necessity of using auxiliary transmitters.

Application

RZR®-AS device ensures the continuity of powering in n/n networks for the public buildings, apartment houses and industrial facilities in the systems: transformer – generator or two transformer sources. The device can realize:

  • SZR -  automatic  turning on the reserve after the loss of voltage,
  • APZ – automatic switch of powering after the return of voltage (return cycle),
  • AZZ –automatic turning of power supply after turning on the device to work,
  • Start-Stop – of the generator (powering form UPS).

  • Direct steering of the commuting elements (switches, connectors) – without additional equipment,
  • Steering with the start and stopping of the generator.

Possibility of:
- setting  the parameters,
- changing of the configuration of work,
- monitoring the state of the switchboard (switches and voltages) on LCD display and signaling diodes,
- external blockade of the device,
- internal blockade of the device set in the configuration of the operation,
- setting of the permanent blockade (it requires deleting using the buttons on the panel) and temporary blockade (released after the loss of the external signal),
- additional connectors switching to signalisation or steering other appliance in the working mode of the generator,
- additional signaling socket to integrate with external devices (systems)

Operation

Microprocessor  of  measuring-steering system controlling the presence of all the voltages and the state of all the switches and next depending on them performs switching according to the table of  the state.

Steering of the switches takes place using two signals steering the coils of each switch: turning on and turning off. Their position, however, is controlled by the state of auxiliary contactors. Only their unequivocal state allows the work of the device. The device can be powered with one of the inlet voltages chosen automatically by external switching system. This voltage can be also used to steer the switches. With such a solution the device does not need auxiliary voltage. During the device operation with the generator the powering form UPS is necessary.

Construction

The device is placed in a panel casing being in accordance with the DIN 43700/IEC 61554 8.4 norms, adjusted to the montage behind the board or thanks to additional holders possible to be mounted on the plate or DIN rail. The following can be found on the front plate of the device:

  • LCD  display,
  • LED signalisation of the presence of the voltage powering the unit,
  • LED signalling of external blockade,
  • LED signalisation of the presence of the voltage of the supervised tracks of powering of the switchboard ,
  • LED signalisation of the turned on position of the switches (contactors) ,
  • Six temporary buttons used for steering the switches (contactors) and generator,
  • Four temporary navigation buttons for operating and changing the settings of the parameters of the device operation,
  • Two- positional switch of the working mode with a key.

On the back panel of  the casing there are connectors for connecting the device  with the steered performing elements, fuses of circuits of voltage detection and powering of the device. The device as a standard is equipped in communication port RS232.
