RZR®-AS

Automatic machine RZR®-Mikro is a microprosessor unit for automatic turning on of reserve voltage (ATR/SZR) and automatic return to basic supply (ARB/APZ) of a switching station 0.4 kV.

Application

Automatic machine RZR®-Mikro ensures constant power supply in LV networks in public buildings, apartment buildings and industrial establishments. The unit is manufactured in three basic versions:
• 533 – adapted for work in a configuration 5 – switches, 3 sections and 3 power sources *,
• 322 – adapted for work in a configuration 3 – switches, 2 sections and 2 power sources *,
• 212 – adapted for work in a configuration 2 – switches, 1 section and 2 power sources *.

The unit performs switchings:
• ATR – AC dump,
• ARB – after voltage return,

Characteristic features

• Manufactured with use of a modern microprocessor RISC type.

• Comfortable and simple maintenance.

• High resistance to interferences in input and output circuits.
• It is possible to:
- have a direct control of commutation elements (switches, contactors),
- set parameters,
- change working configuration,
- monitor switching station status (switches and voltages) on LCD,
- outer interlocking of the unit with an external contact,
- inside interlocking of the unit preset in the configuration of functioning,
- produce a special version for individual customer’s demand.

Operation

Automatic machine RZR®-Mikro [533] controls the presence of three voltages and status of 5 switches. Depending on the position of switches and presence of voltages the unit carries out switching procedure which leads to the condition according to the diagram below:

When the power is supplied by a UPS after the failure of U1, U2, U3 voltages the unit turns off all switches. (Cycle with blocking option). In a cycle of automatic return to basic power supply ARB (return cycle) the unit is working when a failure voltage appears. This switching can be set aside. 

Structure

The automatic unit is located in a metal housing adopted for installation on a DIN rail. The front plate of the unit contains:
• LCD,
• indicator showing the presence of a power supply voltage,
• indicator showing external lock,
• four momentary buttons to change the LCD page, operation parameters and unit configuration

The upper and lower part of the housing has outlets to connect the unit with a controlled system. The housing contains the following main components of the unit:
• power supply,
• output relays,
• separator systems,
• LCD,
• front plate block (keyboard and signal lights),
• microprocessor system for measurement and control.
