RZR®-SZZ
Automatic machine RZR®-SZZ is a microprocessor unit for automatic turning on of reserve power supply (ATR/SZR) and automatic return to basic power supply (ARB/APZ) of a switching station 0.4 kV.
Application
Automatic machine RZR®-SZZ ensures constant power supply in networks n/n in public buildings, apartment buildings and industrial establishments. The unit is adopted for operation in a configuration 2 – switches (contactors *), 1 section and 2 power sources.
The unit performs switchings:
• ATR – from AC dump,
• ARB – after voltage return,
• APT – automatic power turning on after unit activation.
Characteristic features

• High resistance to interferences in input and output circuits.
• Provided with additional indication of position of switches.
It is possible to:
- set a delay of turning on and off the switches
- have a direct control of commutation elements (switches, contactors),
- monitor switching station status (switches and voltages) by means of LED display,
- block the unit through external contact and key lock,
- change the delay range of turning off and turning on by manufacturer.
Operation
Automatic machine RZR®-SZZ controls the occurrence of two voltages and status of 2 switches. Depending on switch position and voltage occurrence the unit carries out switching procedure which leads to the condition according to the diagram below:

Structure
The automatic unit is located in a PVC housing adopted for mounting on a DIN rail.
The front plate of the unit contains:
• key lock for unit blocking,
• indicator showing the presence of a power supply voltage,
• blocking indicator,
• turning knob for adjustment of turning off and on of switches.
The upper and lower part of the housing has outlets to connect the unit with a controlled system. The housing contains the following main components of the unit:
• power supply,
• output relays,
• separator systems,
• front plate block (signal lights),
• microprocessor system for measurement and control with adjustment of function delay.
